1. Technology Assessment and Demonstration for its Application and Capacity Development

Activities of KVK

1. Organize on and off campus training programmes for farmers, rural youth and extension functionaries of line departments.
2. Organize short and long terms vocational trainings.
3. Conduct location specific research viz. On Farm Trials.
4. Refinement of existing technology.
5. Conduct Frontline Demonstration at farmers’ field on improved technologies.
6. To provide feedback to the National Agricultural Research system comprising ICAR institutes and Agricultural Universities.
7. Liaison with the line Department of Agriculture and allied sector in the District.
8. District profile and contingent plan for the district.
9. Work as research and knowledge centre for dissemination of agricultural technologies in the district.
